Characteristics of Gas Sensors Based on MEH-PPV/Si Devices

Abstract

In this work, MEH-PPV/Si and MEH-PPV/PS at different current densities have been synthesized for NO₂ gas sensor_. The sensitivity and speed response at different operating temperatures (RT, 100°C, 200°C). The study showed that the maximum sensitivity to NO₂ gas for MEH-PPV/Si sensor is 16% at RT, and the maximum sensitivity to NO₂ gas is 74% at 200°C. Results show that MEH-PPV/PS has better sensitivity toward nitrogen dioxide gas compared to MEH-PPV/Si.
